Bellingham Parks and Rec are teaming up with Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association to support wildlife and salmon habitat along Whatcom Creek. The kind of work is variable, but in general we will be planting native trees and shrubs, removing invasive weeds and spreading mulch. A few Echoites went to a similar clean-up in December, and it was amazing how much work could be done in only a few hours. Help us give back to our community and our wildlife!
