Dinner and Discussions have become a cornerstone for Echoes. As one Echo-ite put it, "magic happens around food and eating together." We'll have tasty food, and a great environment for community-building.
Since May is mental health month, we're going to watch a 29minute TED talk by Andrew Solomon, a guy who has experienced and written extensively on the topic of depression.
As with all dinner and discussions: it's potluck style! Bring a dish for others to share. We'll enjoy the meal, and engage in dialogue over an important topic. Civility, openness, respect, and an ear for listening are all highly encouraged. If you are unable to provide some food, come anyway!
