For many, many, MANY years Ash Wednesday has been a day to remember our humanness. Every person will be reduced to ashes eventually. With this realization comes humility and a desire to live well with the years that we have.

On Ash Wednesday some Echoes people will be roving the downtown area of Bellingham, offering ashes to whomever wishes to receive them.
