Sept. 24th is National Public Lands Day, so it's appropriate that Echoes will team up with a work party. If you hike in the Chuckanuts this one is a great opportunity to give back to our local trail system.

Washington Trails Association has been leading trail work volunteerism for decades. For this one they are joined by Bellingham REI, so the work will be even more lively. Emphasis is placed on safety and fun, so if this is your first trail work experience, or you're worried that it might be too much, "rest" in the assurance that the organizers invite as many rests as necessary!
