'Hamster Church with Joanna Schmidt

_DSC5791B-copy-4.jpg

Each month Echoes hosts a monthly gathering in which we invite a member from the larger Bellingham community to share about their life - why are they here? what are they doing to make life better here in the ‘ham? how can we learn from them? This month’s guest is Joanna Schmidt, an animal communicator and Shaman.

Joanna Schmidt has a wild passion for exploring rooted-in-your-bones intuitive and energetic practices and ways to weave the sacredness of embodied intuition into everyday living. She has been lovingly shaped and molded by Spirit and Earth to communicate ways of navigating and mending disconnections between body and energy. She brings these gifts to her work as a practitioner of the intuitive-shamanic arts, and as a mentor and animal communicator. She lives in Bellingham, Washington, with her beloved husband, Steve, and their house cat extraordinaire, Miss Kitty Sassy-Pants, who offers daily reminders of the importance of bravery, playfulness, and gratitude.

You can find more about Joanna’s exquisitely grounded offerings including her books and session options in energy work, shamanic healing, energetic boundaries and animal communication, at her website, www.joannaschmidt.com.

The event is free and open to all; donations are welcome.

Location is the Old Parish Hall, 2116 Walnut St, which is made possible by St Paul’s Episcopal Church

A variety of snacks will be available; feel free to contribute!
