This month’s service church will take place during our regular Monday gathering in solidarity with our immigrant and refugee neighbors! Solidarity also includes eating together, so please bring some food to share as this will be a potluck!
We will gather together for a simple meal, with the majority of our time together spent writing and creating. We will be joining at least two postcard writing efforts:
The Jesuit Refugee Service/USA and Any Refugee partner to connect with refugee children around the world by delivering messages of hope and solidarity through postcards. In particular they love to receive postcards from children, so please do bring your kids!
The Multifaith Alliance for Syrian Refugees. They provide kits of relief supplies to Syrian refugees (especially to women and girls), and they like to include a postcard with each kit.
If you have extra postcards you would like to donate, please bring them! No stamps are needed.
