This is one day event that requires HEAPS of volunteers to pull off. Echoes people will be volunteering in different capacities. Project Homeless Connect has all kinds of opportunities to serve: from setting up the day before, to meal servers, to guides for the guests, there is something for everyone.
It’s intense, but it’s rewarding! Come help make a difference in our county!

An intro to the larger goals of the event, from the website:
Bellingham/Whatcom Project Homeless Connect (B/WPHC) is a volunteer-based collaborative effort to assist people toward improved health, stable housing, and greater prosperity. Our goal for the next annual PHC event is to offer high-value services and generous hospitality for neighbors in Whatcom County who are unsheltered or experiencing a housing crisis. This one-day, one-stop event will mobilize community volunteers, service providers, and the donor community in order to:
Invite and welcome people who are homeless
Reduce barriers to service
Provide immediate service outcomes
Create sustainable and long-term service partnerships
Track and publicize results that connect to the Whatcom County Plan to End Homelessness.
