What is the connection between spirituality and the arts? This monthly event explores this important question, and offers an opportunity to engage our own creativity in a worshipful setting.

As we explore our August theme of REpair, we will let our memories and individual stories guide us in artistic exploration. Each month we explore a different medium and this month’s cut and paste technique will take you back to childhood! Art can be a healing & therapeutic experience and allow us to tap into parts of ourselves that can be less accessible in our busy lives. We will participate in the art of Soul Collage as a way to repair our hearts and souls. Come give your brain a rest, and let your spirit create in a safe and inviting community!

Paper and magazine/book/art materials will be provided! If you have any magazines you would like to bring for artistic re-use please do so!

We believe that we are created in the image of the creator and artistic practices can be a spiritual experience of creation, of freedom, and of messiness. All levels of artistic engagement are welcome!
