Sign up to join in restoring private property along Squalicum Creek by planting and mulching native trees and shrubs with NSEA (Nooksack Salmon Enhancement)
Squalicum Creek currently provides habitat for primarily chum, coho, and pink salmon as well as resident and sea-run cutthroat trout, but many sections still need improvement to provide healthy, productive fish habitat. NSEA regularly works with private landowners to restore salmon-bearing habitat on their property, and the Roybal family has welcomed volunteer work parties on their land for many seasons now.
We strive to remove barriers of participation by providing all necessary tools, gloves, and instructions for every work party. Please come join us! Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide refreshments or restrooms this season because of the pandemic. More information on parking and where to check in is available upon registration.
