We will gather on zoom for Service Church as we write Letters of Love to Our Elders!

Valentines Day might be on February 14th, but Senior/Elders/Grandparents & Wise ones need love on more than just one day a year. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s more important than ever to fight loneliness with love for our elders. The stats behind social isolation: In 2020, 7.7 million community-dwelling adults age 65 and older in the United States were socially isolated, and 1.3 million were severely socially isolated. More strikingly, 43% of Americans age 60 and older report feeling lonely. Receiving a card can go a long way to fight loneliness during these chaotic times.
So let’s take time to write letters (both to Elders we know!) and folks who need some love in the mail!
