At Echoes we are seeking to be a fully inclusive, anti-racist community, which means we are in a constant state of learning about our past and present, so that as an informed community, we can create a more just future. Together, we will examine Christianity’s role in perpetuating White Supremacy in America, in Part 1 of our America’s UnHoly Ghost series.

The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. challenged us to investigate the "ideational roots of our hate," and that's what author Joel Edward Goza opens up for us in these films created around some of the themes in his book America's Unholy Ghosts.

On Monday, February 22nd we will begin this 5 week series to help expose the truth of how Christianity has been warped to fit a false narrative of white superiority. Session One (Trained to Forget and Perpetuating White Supremacy) will explore these themes through video, questions and conversations.

The five-session series includes 8 conversation films with Joel, a series trailer, and a discernment and discussion guide with practices to consider, written by Danielle Fanfair.
