Wild Church gathers for our monthly opportunity to connect with the sacred in the wild.
”At Some Point in Life, The World’s Beauty Becomes Enough.”
-Toni Morrison
Come find a moment of beauty and enough-ness on a Monday evening. We will gather at Lutherwood Camp & Retreat Center on the quiet and peaceful shores of Lake Samish. By grounding ourselves in the ancient stories of rest and renewal, we can foster sacred relationships with the Divine present in us and the natural world.
The sun sets at 8:09pm so we will have plenty of time and daylight to wander the grounds and connect with the wonders of our natural world and the neighbors who inhabit it with us.
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather. Bring a blanket, chair, beverage, journal or other creative materials that will help you converse deeply with nature.
From ancient times it has been widely acknowledged that there are Two Books from which we can know God: Scripture and Nature. Echoes is affiliated with The Wild Church Network, and engages in the practice of outdoor worship with Wild Church once a month.
