Indigenous People's Day

We are not meeting this Monday with good reason. It is Indigenous Peoples’ Day, which is something to celebrate! We encourage you to attend (and join us) at this fabulous collaborative gathering happening at Whatcom Community College. There will be stories, salmon and a film screening of a documentary entitled Diary of a Lost Bird. Event is free for all & has parking available.

Sarah Augustine is a Pueblo woman who lives with her family in White Swan, Washington. She is the former Executive Director of the Dispute Resolution Center of Yakima and Kittitas Counties, is co-founder of Dismantling the Doctrine of Discovery Coalition, and author of "The Land is Not Empty: Following Jesus in Dismantling the Doctrine of Discovery.
