Our theme for this Zine* is Blessings to My Younger Self

What is a zine? A zine is a self-published, non-commercial print-work that is typically produced in small, limited batches. Zines are created and bound in many DIY ways, but traditionally editions are easily reproduced—often by crafting an original “master flat,” and then photocopying, folding, and stapling the pages into simple pamphlets. Zines may also be sewn, taped, glued—or even exist in unbound and other non-folio formats. The main rule is that there are no rules! What Is A Zine?

Together we will create submissions of Art, Writing, Collage, Quotes, Letters, Photography and any other ideas you have to assemble an Echoes handmade zine (short for magazine) to be a Blessing to anyone who encounters it (physical ages aside), as a reminder that even old wounds need healing! We will do so in a sacred setting, so you can allow yourself space, to deeply engage with the prompt in your creative way.

ALL are welcome to come create a zine with us and connect more deeply with that younger self in all of us! Or if you would like to submit your own piece to this zine, please send it to us via email by midnight on 2/28 to info@echoesbellingham.org

This will be Echoes’ 5th zine and once completed and assembled (after this event) we will place it around Bellingham for others to find, enjoy and experience!
