Join Echoes for a time of wild wandering in our beloved Bellingham for Wild Church!

We will gather at Little Squalicum Park (and walk down to Little Squalicum Beach) to spend time near the sacred shores that have carved out space where Bellingham Bay meets the land. Wild Church is an opportunity for us to slow down, tune our ears and hearts to the land and creatures that provide so much more than the backdrop to our lives. In essence any time of deep listening is considered church at Echoes (hence our name). The sun sets at 8:44pm, so we will have plenty of light to seek the sacred near the sea.

Little Squalicum Park: 640 Marine Dr. Bellingham, WA 98225

Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather. Bring a short chair, a blanket, journal or other creative materials that will help you have a conversation with nature. The parking lot is located above the park and will be where we gather until 6:40pm, then we will walk down to the beach together. The trail is an accessible, walkable gravel trail, but will include up to .75 miles walking, please plan accordingly. Once we get to the beach there is a log or two to climb over to get to the beach. We highly recommend bringing a chair if you cannot stand for long periods of time or want to get more comfortable.

From ancient times it has been widely acknowledged that there are Two Books from which we can know God: Scripture and Nature. Echoes is affiliated with The Wild Church Network, and engages in the practice of outdoor worship with Wild Church once a month.
