Wildness reminds us what it means to be human, what we are connected to rather than what we are separate from."
- Terry Tempest Williams.
We gather monthly for our Wild Church, because we are not just a church without a building, but rather a community that seeks connection with the land and all we share this planet with. Join Echoes for an outdoor worship experience that centers nature and our conversation with all of the creatures we have the privilege of being connected to.
Please wear what you need to be comfortable and to make your time in the fading light walkable. The majority of our time will be spent WITH nature, so bring what will make your time outside, Wild & Comfortable. We recommend a chair, light blanket, water bottle and layers to ensure you have what you need for Wild Church. It is up to you how Wild or Tame your experience is!
Location: Samish Park: 673 North Lake Samish Drive, Bellingham, WA 98229
We will gather at 6:30pm in the parking lot, and walk to our location around 6:40pm to begin our service at 6:45pm so we have plenty of time to wander the trails and the stores of Lake Samish (Sunset is at 8:12pm).
