Ash Wednesday

  • Artivem Mead Co. 1211 Granary Avenue Bellingham, WA, 98225 United States (map)

This season of Lent (40 days before Easter) begins with Ash Wednesday.
A day to reflect on our mortality, and what it means to be Alive at this time, in this place, for now.

If the weather allows, we’ll gather outside and have a very simple time together with scripture, readings & prayer with time to receive ashes and the sign of a cross on your forehead. This sign of blessing is an ancient ritual to remind ourselves to slow down, savor the time we have on this earth and remember to the earth we will return.
Afterwards we will head inside for beverages and conversation as well as folks to drop by for ashes. There are non-alcoholic beverage options available as well.

Stop on by for ashes anytime between 7-8pm.

Location: Artivem Mead Co. 1211 Granary Ave #127, Bellingham, WA 98225
