Creative Church gathers for a time to honor ourselves & our spirits as creative and created beings. Making a space for creativity and the process of crafting something collaboratively can be a sacred experience.

Come and get Creative, Tonight!

We’re preparing for a zine (meaning curated handmade magazine) and together will make submissions/reflections/images/poetry/collage/art and more! We'll have example of zines, lots of magazines, paper and supplies, and a fill in the blank mini zine to get you started! But feel free to bring and materials, clippings, magazines or supplies that you are willing to share!

Echoes turns 10 THIS YEAR and we can use your help celebrating what it means to offer Radical Welcome over these years. Tonight we'll explore themes and possibilities for our zine and use these questions as our guide!

*How can we reflect on our many experiments together through writing?
*How can we help others find inspiration and hope through art?
*How can we explore the power of community through prayer or song?
*How can we utilize our unique creativity to showcase the sacred?
*How can we create a zine together as a gift back to the land and people of Bellingham & Whatcom County (& beyond!)

The cool part about this month's Creative Church is that you can do it with us in person, or from right where you are. You can explore these themes/questions and submit your art/poetry/quote/writing/collage or song via email/photo to our Zine!
