“Nature is painting for us, day after day, pictures of infinite beauty.”
-John Ruskin
Wild Church is our monthly opportunity to be outdoors and engage in our original sanctuary: Nature.
We’ll listen to the birds, trees, streams, and other wild creatures who we inhabit this earth with and take time to hear what they are saying to us. To hear what the spirit is saying to us. To intently honor what our soul is saying to us in a time of shared community.
Our time together includes, prayers, song, readings & reflection, The majority of our time together is spent wandering and really engaging with the PLACE that we are in.
Location: Juliana Park - 800 W Horton Rd, Bellingham, WA 98226
All are welcome to join us in community with nature and with one another. We will finish before sunset (8:50pm), but you are encouraged to wear layers and what you need to be comfortable (light jacket, comfortable walking shoes) as the majority of our time together will be spent wandering one of Bellingham’s newer parks.
Kids & Pets are both encouraged at Wild Church. As part of our Land Acknowledgement, we try to be good stewards of our shared spaces and we strive to leave places free of too much human interference, so join us in walking lightly.
