Join us for our monthly Creative Church creating ZINES.

For years, zines have given individuals and communities a voice, providing a way to resist, feel empowered, and share stories. These small, hand-made magazines spread information, personal experiences, and inspire action.

At Echoes we have our own history of creating zines for Pride, for Encouragement, for History and now for creative resistance. We will provide the simple supplies and you provide the creativity for a powerful COMMUNAL activity in JOY and RESISTANCE.

What words, images, stories, poems and photos need to be archived in an Echoes’ zine?
What messages do WE want to share with Bellingham/our community during THIS moment in time?
How can we use simple print media to inspire creative resistance in our own backyard?

This month’s medium is paper. You are welcome to bring materials that can be utilized, cut up or collaged for this Creative Church experience.
