Echoes invites you to a special Ash Wednesday* gathering outdoors @ sunset.

In 2026, let us take this time together to acknowledge our mortality and the profound blessing of being here for another year, inviting us to be grounded in this present moment. We will gather at the edge of the water to engage with the elements: Earth, Shore, Sea, and Ash—a powerful reminder of our connection to creation.

Our Ash Wednesday worship recognizes that we are formed from the earth, our sacred ground. As we honor all that we receive from this place, we come together to receive the imposition of ashes as a tangible mark of our mortality, remembering the ancient truth: from dust we come, and to dust we shall return.

Afterwards or in case of incliment weather we will go for beverages/snacks at -Mercato Delle Bonta 1211 Granary Ave, Bellingham, WA 98225

*Ash Wednesday marks the start of Lent, the 40 Days before Easter.

***Depending on the weather, we will gather on the beach. There is a gravel parking lot across from the park with ample spaces.
