Create in community with Echoes!

Bring a creative project that you have been working on or want to start. This month we’re giving you space to create. Knitting! Coloring! Sewing! Collage! Painting! Drawing! Any medium you want to express yourself in.

Use your Monday for some craftivism and make a Resistance Sign, banner or digital art.

We will also have card supplies if you want to create for others and spread joy by making or writing Spring cards for Seniors in Bellingham and Whatcom County. Simple art supplies will also be provided for you to try something different as well. Please just join us.

In our creative time we will watch the film Lynden. Its an important watch, come and learn.
In the film a 17-year-old girl adopted from Ethiopia leads a racial justice march in her small, conservative town, igniting a fierce cultural battle that divides friends, families and church members, and forces the community to confront deeply ingrained issues of identity and race.
