Echoes has been a proud supporter and encourager of the Whatcom Youth PRIDE Parade and Festival - since its inception in 2019. WYP is an opportunity for LGBTQIA+ youth and youth allies to walk together through a short parade route while the community stands along the sidelines and cheers them on with signs and bubbles!
The parade culminates in a festival at Bellingham High School where there will be tables for community organizations to share their resources, music and performances, and food trucks for lunch!
One of only 2 in the country, the Whatcom Youth Pride Parade and Festival continues to be a huge success! We're looking forward to supporting our youth - Come join us!
We have adopted a block this year #12. Please find us on Flora & Unity Street with signs and banners! We will be next to our friends Faith Lutheran & Our Saviours Lutheran Churches!
