Dinner and Discussions have become a cornerstone for Echoes. As one Echo-ite put it, "magic happens around food and eating together." We'll have an engaging topic, tasty food, and a great environment for community-building.
As with all dinner and discussions: it's potluck style! Bring a dish for others to share. We'll enjoy the meal, and engage in dialogue over an important topic. Civility, openness, respect, and an ear for listening are all highly encouraged. If you are unable to provide some food, come anyway!
In the spirit of it being Martin Luther King, Jr's Day, we'll watch Boyd Varty's TED talk on interconnectedness and the concept of "Ubuntu", titled, "What I learned from Nelson Mandela." I
