"Justice Night" (working title!) is a new monthly endeavor at Echoes. We'll gather to watch a film, discuss a topic or an article, or listen to someone's story, with the goal of becoming more aware of the social systems in which we live. The overall hope is to get to a place where we can recognize where oppression is happening, better understand why it's happening, and potentially do something about it.
This is a learning journey that is fueled by the love of Jesus for those who have been marginalized. There's work to be done. Want to join?
LOCATION: The Cordata Co-Op upstairs meeting room (315 Westerly at Cordata Pkwy).
FOOD: This will be a potluck with the main dish of baked potatoes with various toppings. Bring something interesting, or just come and eat anyway!
