We're recognizing World Animal Day (the same day as the celebration of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals) by blessing the animals of Whatcom County!

Come join us at Cornwall Park on Saturday, Oct. 1st, to offer a blessing to your animal friend. The blessing will be led by Lutheran pastor Rev. Charis Weathers, and will entail a short liturgy followed by a personal blessing for each critter. Dogs treats will be on hand!

This is the fourth annual Animal Blessing hosted by Echoes. We've had dogs, cats, bunnies, a giant lizard...what will show up this year? ALL animals are welcome!
