For our April volunteer opportunity we'll be joining Bham Parks and Rec and the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association as they continue work in Maritime Heritage Park. We've done a lot of work here through the past several years, and it'll be great to be back here, especially during Easter week (we've done service projects here for a few Easters).

We will be removing invasive vegetation and mulching native trees and shrubs along Whatcom Creek at Maritime Heritage Park in order to create better salmon habitat along this urban creek.

Location: Parking is available at the north end of C Street near the Bellingham Technical College Fisheries campus; access from Holly Street - look for the blue NSEA tents!

NSEA always has some finger food on hand. Dress for being outdoors.
