This year we'll be meeting at Lake Padden for a liturgical walk. Meet at the tennis courts at 10am; we'll start the loop walk from there. Stopping periodically for a reading, we'll take this walk at a leisurely pace, appreciating the outdoors, the significance of Easter, and each other's company.
We like to get outside on Easter in order to experience first-hand this planet that Jesus came to, walked on, and for which he gave his life and death. This whole thing, the people, the plants, the animals, the deserts and mountains, ALL of it was made by God, deemed and redeemed as good, worthy of blessing. We'll remember this on Easter, and acknowledge where we've seen resurrection, and where resurrection still needs to occur.
This is a great time for newcomers or one-comers to take a look at what we do and who we are at Echoes, so please do come. (The ending time of 11:45 is an estimate; feel free to join for only part of this time if needed.)
Afterwards there will be a meal at Charis' for any who want to continue the celebration!
