“Do something resurrection-y on Easter!!!”
At Echoes we typically choose to practice resurrection on Easter. This will be the fourth year that we meet at Maritime Heritage Park in downtown Bellingham to add to the countless volunteer hours that have resurrected this former garbage dump into a life-giving park.
We will most likely be spreading mulch, which helps to keep at bay all the invasive species that were removed on MLK Day.
Join us near the outdoor circular fish pens, next to the Perry Fish Hatchery (1600 C Street). There is ample parking.
BRING appropriate clothes for the weather and closed-toe shoes. Work gloves will be provided. Hopefully it won't rain, but.....it's Bellingham.
Echoes will provide water and some snacks.
After the walk, feel free to join us for the Easter Walk, which synthesizes the history of Bellingham with the death and resurrection of Jesus. It's unique, it's funky, it's Bellingham, it's Echoes. Facebook event here.
