We are looking forward to welcoming Bellinghamster Hans Erchinger-Davis to discuss his work with the Lighthouse Mission!

Hans Erchinger-Davis was born in Bellingham, WA, studied business at Western Washington University and theology at Regent College, Vancouver. He has worked in the tech industry and as a filmmaker. A fourteen-year veteran of homeless ministry, he is presently the Executive Director of Lighthouse Mission Ministries. He is married with a daughter and son.

We’ll talk about how Hans got started with the Lighthouse Mission, and what he sees as the gifts and challenges of the Mission. In Bellingham there are those who love the Lighthouse Mission, and those who hate it. How does Hans manage the public, both in terms of the underhoused who need services, and those who express loudly their discontent with the way the Mission is run? How does the Lighthouse Mission support its constituents while also maintaining good relationships with downtown businesses? For all the topics we don’t address, there will be a chance for Q&A at the end.
